Centralised injection moulding facility relocation

The challenge

A Dutch plastics manufacturer specialised in flower pots and injection-moulded products, operated its production across multiple buildings throughout the Brabant region. This fragmented setup limited efficiency, scalability and logistics flow.

The client’s objective was clear: fully centralise all operations into one new, modern facility, while simultaneously integrating newly purchased injection moulding machines into the production layout ,without disrupting ongoing business.

The solution & execution

Gerritsen Group was appointed to manage the entire relocation and consolidation project, acting as a single point of responsibility from start to finish. Scope of work included:

• Complete dismantling and relocation of all existing injection moulding machines
• Packaging and transport from multiple locations across Brabant
• Coordinated move-in to a new production facility
• Placement and integration of newly acquired machines at client request
• Alignment, positioning and technical preparation of all equipment
• Phased execution to ensure continuity of production

All activities were carefully planned and executed to merge dispersed operations into one fully functional site.

The result

All production activities were successfully consolidated into a single, modern facility of approximately 50,000 m², located in Northern-Brabant. The new site now operates as a fully centralised production hub, enabling improved logistics, streamlined workflows and future growth.

The combination of relocated and newly installed machinery resulted in a production environment that is more efficient, scalable and ready for continued expansion.
